Apex Black Car and Limousine INC is committed to ensuring that every client, regardless of physical ability, age, medical condition, or disability, receives the same first-class standard of luxury chauffeured transportation. This Statement incorporates by reference our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, both available at apexblackcar.com.
1. Our Commitment
We work continuously to remove barriers and ensure that every client interaction, from booking to drop-off, is dignified, respectful, and tailored to individual needs. No additional fees are charged for accessibility accommodations unless specific equipment rental costs apply. All accessibility requests are handled with complete discretion and respect for client privacy.
2. Transportation Accessibility
All accommodations should be requested at the time of booking, so the appropriate vehicle and chauffeur can be assigned. We confirm all accommodations in your booking confirmation.
Wheelchair and Mobility Device Assistance
Our chauffeurs are trained in safe passenger boarding and deboarding for clients who use wheelchairs, rollators, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices. Please specify the type of mobility device at booking.
Non-Emergency Medical Transport
Apex provides HIPAA-compliant non-emergency medical transportation to hospitals, dialysis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and specialty clinics across Greater Boston. Door-through-door service is available for clients who need an escort from inside their home or care facility to inside the medical destination.
Senior and Assisted Living Transport
We provide gentle, patient, and dependable chauffeured transportation for elderly clients at assisted living communities and memory care facilities across Greater Boston.
Service Animals
Service animals are always welcome in all Apex vehicles at no additional charge and with no advance notice required, in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and M.G.L. c.272, Section 98A.
Child Safety Seats
Professionally installed, age-appropriate child safety seats are available as an add-on. Please specify the child’s age and weight at booking.
Communication Accessibility
For clients who are deaf or hard of hearing, Apex offers text-based and email communication for all booking confirmations, chauffeur contact, and service updates.
Medical Equipment Accommodation
Clients traveling with medical equipment, including oxygen tanks, CPAP machines, or IV poles, should advise Apex at booking so the appropriate vehicle can be assigned.
Door-Through-Door Service
Your chauffeur will come to your door, assist you to the vehicle, transport you to your destination, and escort you inside upon request.
Alternative Format Documents
Our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Accessibility Statement are available in alternative formats upon request, including large print, plain text, and audio format. Contact reservations@apexblackcar.com to request an alternative format.
3. Website Accessibility
Conformance Status
Apex aims to partially conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are actively working with our development team to identify and address remaining gaps.
Known Limitations
The following known limitations currently exist on apexblackcar.com: the online booking form has not been fully tested with all screen reader software; some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible to screen readers; certain interactive elements may not be fully keyboard-navigable on all browsers.

4. Accessible Booking Process
Book by Phone

Book by Email
Email reservations@apexblackcar.com with your pickup details, destination, date, time, and any accessibility requirements. We respond within one hour during business hours.
Book Online
Book at our online booking page. The booking form includes a Special Requests field for accessibility needs, mobility device requirements, medical equipment, or communication preferences.
5. Chauffeur Training and Certification
- CPR and first aid certification: all active Apex chauffeurs maintain current certification.
- Passenger assistance training: safe techniques for assisting clients in and out of vehicles.
- Sensitivity and disability awareness training.
- HIPAA awareness training for chauffeurs assigned to medical transport.
- ADA compliance training covering legal obligations and best practices.
